What a fun and exciting week we had in kindergarten as we welcomed fall!
Here are the centers we did this week:

In the reading Center we matched uppercase and lowercase letters to make a fall apples and pumpkins book:
In the block corner we practiced our teamwork skills and sharing as we built block creations:
In the math center we worked on sorting links by shape or color:
In the reading center we worked on sorting words and pictures that began with the letters we learned this week, Ll, Ii, Tt, Oo:
Mrs. Paulson came on Friday for our first day of guidance. She reviewed "Whole Body Listening" with the class and brought along Impulsive Puppy to meet the class:
We had our first Good Eats this week. This month we sampled husk cherries. Some students really enjoyed tasting them, others were not too sure how they thought about them:
To welcome fall this week, we have been learning all about apples. We have learned that apples can be red, green or yellow. The class was able to sample each color apple and vote on which apple they liked the best. Check out our class graph below to see what the winner was!
